Privacy
Hearthside has no accounts and keeps nothing about you on its own servers, apart from a correction you choose to send. This page says what does happen when you visit.
In your browser
A few preferences stay in your own browser's storage, under names starting with hearthside.: the light or dark theme, whether example data is on, the role you last looked at, how tanks are sorted, how many players roll against you for gear, and the quest steps you've ticked. They never leave your browser, and clearing the site's data in your browser removes them.
Page counts
Pages are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records the page, the referring site and a rough location, without cookies and without following you between sites.
Advertising
The site shows no ads, so no advertising network is loaded.
Corrections
A correction you send keeps what you write, the page and the source you give, for the reviewers. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person sent it, on that form only. To limit how many one place can send in a day, a one-way code made from your network address and the date is kept for two days, then cleared.
The host and other sites
The site is served by a hosting company whose servers, like any web server, see your address and the page you asked for. Links to Wowhead, Warcraft Logs and the sources behind each fact go to those sites, under their own policies. The fonts and icons are served with the site, not from other companies.
